Training for the Big Show!

Training season has begun as we prepare our yearling females for the Big Alpaca Show, Empire Trifecta in Syarcuse NY.  On October 13&14 we will be showing 4 of Space Cowboys off spring and it's sure to be exciting.  Some of the students from Unity College helped us out last week by getting the girls started on their journey of preparing for the show.  Thank you so much to each of you for all of your outstanding help!

Halter Training Day at the Farm

It was an exciting day at the farm last week when we started halter training all 6 crias.  We had wonderful help from the Unity College students.  They also helped us with some fence post work and tree trimming!

Earth Day Weekend at Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm

We had a wonderful Earthday Weekend here at the farm.  I think the alpacas had more fun than the kids!  We planted sunflower and pumpkin seedlings using alpaca fiber and alpaca fertilizer!
